4 November 2021 – Switzerland and Italy – Bridging legal and cultural differences

Panel discussion “Switzerland and Italy – Bridging Legal and Cultural Differences”, 4 November 2021, 18.00 at Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law, Zurich

Join us for our first collaborative event with breaking.through CH!

When working in cross-border dispute resolution, one will encounter several different legal and judicial systems as well as meet clients, legal professionals with entirely different social and cultural backgrounds. Against such backgrounds, misunderstandings and missteps are often.

Our panelists Cinzia Catelli, LL.M. (Partner at Bär & Karrer) and Isabella Cannatà, LL.M. (Associate at LALIVE) will discuss with our moderator Pietro Meineri, LL.M. (Associate at Homburger) opportunities to successfully work across borders between Switzerland and Italy as an attorney and arbitrator. They will share their experiences in switching between Swiss and Italian jurisdictions and cultures in their daily practice.

The panel discussion will take place at the offices of Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law, Loewenstrasse 1, 8001 Zurich. We kindly ask you to register prior to the event (charlotte.rosenkranz@breakingthrough.ch) until 2 November 2021, as there are limited places available due to the current Covid-restrictions. For the same reason, a valid Covid-Certificate has to be presented at the entrance to the event.

At the end of the panel discussion, there will be some time reserved for your questions. You are invited to submit your questions before the event to Charlotte Rosenkranz (charlotte.rosenkranz@breakingthrough.ch).

After the event, there will be further time to exchange your experiences during an apéro.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you in November!
